Carol Benton has an extensive background in written communications predominantly for technology companies. A key driver of her work is the challenge of translating the technical, complex and functional into language that is compelling.
Carol calls herself an organisational ‘translator’. Taking an idea and representing it in the most appropriate form for the audience, she can quickly get to the heart of even the most complex products and services and helps her clients translate their value.
As a result, Words2Win has worked extensively with technical, engineering and financial based organisations.
Carol’s expertise is based on 30 years of international corporate sales, marketing and leadership, combined with industry-leading education.
Biography
Founded and run by Carol Benton, Words2Win leverages her expertise in business communications across her 30 years in corporate sales, marketing and leadership roles.
During a career with technology powerhouses IBM and Toshiba, Carol represented IBM in print and television, and crafted and delivered proposals and presentations that won millions of dollars in revenue for both companies.
Seeing first-hand the power of using the right words, she realised many organisations struggle to explain the true value of what they do. Seeing a need for better business communications, Carol developed the Words2Win methodology.
